Nuri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea, where she leads the Neural Robot Intelligence Laboratory (NuRI Lab). Her research focuses on intelligent robot learning for dynamic environments, particularly in visual navigation of embodied agents and interactive 3D perception. She is interested in developing robots that can understand and reason about their surroundings through world models, semantic mapping, and multi-modal perception.

Prior to joining JBNU, she worked as a staff researcher at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). She received her Ph.D. from Seoul National University under the supervision of Professor Songhwai Oh, and a B.S. degree (with great honors) in Electrical Engineering from Korea University in 2016.
